Hours: 48 hours a week (5 hours for lunch) – Monday–Friday

Our client is a national award winning landscape maintenance provider. They have ground maintenance contracts with various major national retail and other commercial outlets. The area this role is situated around is based on a growing relationship with a prestigious house builder.

Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit a Construction / (Hard/Soft) Landscaping team leader to run a team and manage projects throughout the North West. Projects include works involving soft landscaping, topsoil excavation works, fencing, minor paving and other minor hard landscaping.

3-5 years’ experience on similar projects. You must be a team player with a willingness and ability to work alone at times.

The primary aim of the role is to be hands on lead and manage delivery of construction / hard and soft landscaping projects to specification and budget, meeting the customers’ needs and deadlines, putting in time and endeavour as necessary to ensure successful completion.

Manage the day to day of sites and your team. Keep accurate records. Promote the companies professional image.

Communicate effectively with senior management and external project managers to ensure the smooth and efficient organisation of labour, plant, materials and ultimately the timely completion of projects, while working in accordance with statutory and company health and safety requirements.

 

 

Special Requirements

Ideal candidates will have all / some of the following qualifications:

NVQ Level 1&2 Hard Landscaping

NVQ Level 3 Management

HNC Plant Identification

IPAF Licence

Plant Licence – 360 Excavator, trailer, dumper license etc.

Candidates must have a full and valid driving licence and a valid CSCS card.
