A massive thank you goes out to Ben Mitchie, a UKL staff member in East Anglia. Ben was recently working at our Waitrose branch in Norwich, when he heard a customer in serious distress.  He immediately stopped work to investigate and found the customer with no pulse so commenced CPR.  The paramedic team who subsequently attended confirmed that Ben’s quick thinking undoubtedly saved the life of the customer, adding it was unusual to find people who can perform CPR correctly.  Ben was later invited back to the branch to meet the customer, their family and the management team for a small private function to say thanks.  A huge well done Ben !
